I like to wear layers and quarter-zip sweaters are among my favorites. I frequently buy these from LL Bean. But I had an idea to make my own.

I purchased an inexpensive quarter-zip sweatshirt from Hanes ($14!). Cut off the ribbing at the sleeves and hem. Then added fabric binding and a couple other embellishments to make it my own.
